MOTION GRAPHICS

Prior to joining Remitly, I had no experience in motion graphics. It was always something that I wanted to try, but was intimidated by AfterEffects. After shadowing a designer on the team for a short period of time, I was able to grasp the basics, and continued to learn new techniques on my own. The transition from transforming still graphics into life was so interesting and fun. I have also passed down my knowledge to others on the design team (from the basics to tips that can optimize their workflow in After Effects).

Check out a reel of some of the fun animations I've created for Remitly. These have been used and implemented in social media ads, emails, tv commercials, and marketing campaigns.

 

 

 

 

 

PRODUCT ANIMATIONS

Proudly launched the first of many animations in the Remitly product flow. Here is a  current animation for empty states. This effort was in collaboration with a designer on the team, as well as the product development team.
