REVAMPING REMITLY.COM
Remitly's website was in need of a refresh to make it more engaging and consistent. We decided to create a customized CMS. This project involved the senior designer, the main PM, and a team of engineers.
Our objective are to decrease bounce rates, optimize for SEO, and enforce trust through brand consistency. We made sure the components were scalable, flexible in purpose, and visually aligned with the rest of the site. Redlines and use cases had to be considered and documented for each component.
Content was another area that needed improvement. In example, the previous About Us page was not engaging, and had messaging that didn't align with company's mission, and lacked customer centricity. For the revamp, we wanted to build a page around the CEO's vision and mission, and putting our customers' first. View the current About Us page here.


A total of 30 new components were designed, built, and implemented with the new CMS. With the new CMS, stakeholders are empowered to make quick changes efficiently and effortlessly without compromising development time. Changes to components can also be streamlined through the CMS, and is reflected across seamlessly on pages where it lives.
